Koshua's Sojourn

I was poor and restless, i looked about my meager captains quarters seeing many empty places as I had pawned a lot of belongings to fund new war ships to throw at Infinitus Odium during Namtz'aar K'ins second war against them.

See linked post under tital.

Namtz'aar k'in War Part 2

This ended up being a long war, over 4 weeks, though statistically NMTZ and friends won the war. Our fleets had been obliterated, our tactics and abilities in larger scale combat had been proven obsolete. We had only been able to save face as we attacked loan or small INFOD squads to keep the pressure up.

Typically in those days, of Huang Yinglong being apart of the NMTZ alliance and Molden Heath Security. Our modus operandi was to scramble all available combat pilots at reports of Piracy / Hostiles and make best speed. Pilots skill levels and squad set ups where pretty random, from new pilots in Rifters to more experienced in HAC's and Recons. Effective for taking on small groups of pirates, useless when taking on a 20 ship fleet of remote repping ECM hardened Battle Ships.

Also I had felt my loyalties been torn apart, The fabled Red Dwarf mining co. run by smeggy had left NMTZ after disagreements with NMTZ leader Pacal Balan. I had been contacted by smeggy in person and asked if i was interested in joining his new alliance 5th Column. Many other bigger corps of NMTZ left to join this new alliance... many friends. This of course caused a rift amongst NMTZ pilots and leaders along with 5th Column pilots and leaders. Not wanting to be caught up in the political drama, and frustrated buy my friends infighting, my feet got itchy.

I started to suffer wanderlust. I dreamed of massive fleet battles, carriers, mother ships and titans. I wanted to battle opponents who cut holes in space and held unimaginable wealth. I wanted wealth, my body guard needed bigger weapons...

So I left the order of the Golden Dragon, my brothers in arms, in search of selfish gain..

I contacted an old friend and pilot from MH-Sec, Space Chutney. He was more then happy for me and Yoshikawa to join Wildlands Heavy Technologies- WHAT-, in service of the alliance F0undati0n
-FDN-.

At that time -FDN- held numerical superiority over some systems of the Great Wildlands, lawless Thukker tribe owned 0.0 space.

F0undati0n was in heavy conflict with EVOKE alliance, Veritas immortals -V- , The Church and Destructive Influence (some silly pet alliance). My best memory’s from that era is destroying Blue Adepts sniper fleets in V89 or OJOS as Duck Dodgers in a recon ship got us a warp in on top of the enemies position with our close range battle ship's. He lit a cyno and dropped some support carriers into the fray as the long range hostile Battle ships fell apart unable to track our fleet.

Daily we would be Shooting up Linkeleo’s and Light Darkness fleets on the M-M gate in NIH as they made foolish engagements underestimating our abilities. or trying to raid our home system N-dq. This also would lead to us forcing our hand into EO2 and U3K fighting Ev0ke in there money making systems.

These where the days when  Foundation based out of the N-DQ solar system. The greatest event I experienced at that time was the siege of the EVOKE faction tower in E02. We attacked a faction death Star positioned belonging to Evoke in E02, we lost many dreads and Battle Ships to a skilled enemy POS gunner trying to reinforce it. Its Sancha heavy neutralisers ruined the capital ships ability to function and they became sitting ducks. To destroy the faction Sancha large POS, was the biggest battle at that point I had been in. Tau Ceti Federation (all French speaking 0.0 alliance) and Foundation along with some other friendlies of that time joined us on the final assault of the Evoke tower. This was the first engagement I ever participated in where Titans and Super carriers jumped in and raked havoc on the battle field. I remember losing a number of ships, as I was the “bubbler” in my Saber trying to hold down enemy super capitals so they couldnt escape. I was blown apart by enemy assault frigates, dooms dayed and was still able to return to the fight after my clone reactivated in a system next door. I was so busy speeding threw hundreds of ships trying to get close enough to drop a bubble to hold the enemies capitals, laser fire, tracer rounds and drones became a blur.  I dreamed about the fight for a week after.... it was a life changing experience..

After an extended campaign against EVOKE alliance in E02, we finally managed to drive them out of Great Wildlands altogether. Although they claimed they chose to leave to fight in Delve after a shift in power in that 0.0 region. For a short time we experienced some peace, however it didn't last long..

The next group of hostiles to fill the void was long time enemies of Foundation, the Veritas Immortals this was the 3rd great war between the alliances over the Great Wildlands
(see history of GW link- http://eve-history.net/wiki/index.php/Great_Wildlands))

This conflict, not a CONCORD sanctioned war, is where I feel I evolved as a combat pilot, learning more about leadership and tactics needed for victory. In my time shift under the leadership of G0rg0n or Valdor the fleet commanders of Foundation, we put the hurt onto -V-. So many days of battle on the NIH gate we slaughtered Veritas  I can't name or recall one which stands out more.

Later as the war progressed, Valdor and I used to sit out side N-DQ station in sniper ships popping Vesla, one of Princess Aricia’s maids from -V- who would spy on us.  After days of this, Vesla started talking and we got to know our enemy a little better. Later this would lead to an unpresadented cease fire.

The story unfolds like this,  Mars Voltar, fleet commander of IRON alliance and his crew where hot dropping our gangs in Great Wildlands with Dreadnoughts and Carriers, using a small Battle Ship fleet as bait. We had some success in some skirmish's, and also lost some of the early fights with him including some of ourown Carriers. Veritas along with their allies, The Church also had suffered the IRON incursions in to Great Wildlands, all where sick of it.

One night.. Princess Aricia fleet commander of Veritas convoed Valdor Hag, Foundations lead fleet commander. She reported the Mars Voltar and his force's had been spotted close bye, she was hoping for a mutual agreement to work together and kick this home invader out. To my shock after Valdor ordered us to drop fleet and join Princes Aricia's, joining comms I was horrified to hear Tassi of Infinitus Odium fleet commander of the Church alliance leading the operation. The vile slaver and murderer, I had battled for years. Though my blood boiled, I accepted his orders, knowing we all had the same goal of teaching IRON a lesson about coming to Great Wildlands.

Ill never forget hearing the voice of Tassi, his passion and enthusiasm, his foul mouth and complete demand for all to follow orders, to keep quiet and do what you are told. Together we sprung the IRON capital hot drop trap, then massacred the IRON fleet showing no mercy. That was the last we ever saw  IRON in Great Wildlands for a long long time..

After the 3rd war with Veritas Immortals, and many of there friends, the Wildlands enjoyed a time of relative peace. However a new bunch of Pirates got out attention in my old stomping grounds of Molden Heath.  The scurvy pirate crews name was Beyond Divinity -BYDI- these scum had also been hot dropping capitals on gates to kill solo Battle ships and such. -BYDI- and there capital alt corp reunion then started hot dropping carriers and dreads on -FDN- and our friends skirmish fleets at system gates or asteroid belts. Knowing how risky this action was we sort to exploit their boldness (stupidity?) and go for some easy capital ship kills.

We baited them in Bosena on the Oddeluf gate. They dropped there capitals on us as expected and we sprung our trap. Only one of there caps lived… he never jumped into Bosena leaving his mates to perish. After that -BYDI- hated us and smacked us for hot dropping there hot drop. Every word of hatred sung in my ears as we hurt them over and over again.

As twilight times came over F0undati0n, the fights with Red alliance and stirring up trouble in Curse (Blood Angel 0.0 territory) kept the combat pilots active. Here under the command of Valdor and Lord Maldror we practised and refined the tactics of Triage and Pantheon as seen in these historical
holo reels http://www.google.com.au/ig#m_3_%22EvE%20foundation%22

F0undati0n invaded Scalding pass and tried to take an Red Alliance outpost. Our logistics (ammo and spare ships) was poor and we couldn't keep pressure on the Russians and hold the system. We then attacked and held a Promethium moon (1 bil or more income a week) in Scalding pass. We held it for a month, smashed all Red alliance attempts to take it. Then RA pulled out of Scalding pass and handed it over to legion of xdeathx... they out numbered us and where able to double dooms day our fleets. Out gunned but not out classed F0undati0n then stopped the invasion of Scalding pass and Insmother and fell back to Great Wildlands.

At this point the peak of the alliance had been reached, and what goes up must come down. Infighting, core corporations leaving, new less friendly fleet commanders and a general bad taste struck the once mighty F0undati0n. Sad to leave Wildlands Heavy Tech. but knowing my time was up, I clicked my ruby red shoes heals, and shouted "there is no place like home" I ended back in Huang Yinglong... no place like home..
